Biotin

Biotin, also known as vitamin B7 and formerly known as vitamin H or coenzyme R, is a water-soluble organic compound that functions as a coenzyme for carboxylase enzymes, involved in the synthesis of fatty acids, isoleucine, and valine, and in gluconeogenesis. Biotin is found in a wide range of plant and animal products.
